1. Copy the video URL
Open the YouTube video. Tap Share → Copy, or copy the link from the browser. Shorts / youtu.be short links also work when they point to a single public video.
2. Paste and parse
- Go to the v2mp4 home page in your phone browser.
- Paste the link and tap Parse.
- Check the title and cover so it matches the video you want.
3. Choose a phone-friendly quality
720p or 1080p is usually enough for phones. Higher options need more storage and data. If the highest option fails, step down—YouTube only offers what the upload has.
4. Where the file goes
- iPhone： Files app → Downloads. Use Share to save into Photos if you want.
- Android： Downloads folder; many phones also show it in Gallery / Files.
If it doesn’t work
- Confirm the link is one video, not a playlist or channel.
- Private, age-gated, or region-blocked videos may fail.
- Wait a moment and try again if the service is busy.
